Nina’s Story

I pretty much disliked my whole pregnancy. I think I had around 2-3 weeks total during my second trimester, where I felt like I could do some kind of exercise. However, I didn’t really do anything, because I just felt so very uncomfortable, sore and exhausted.

I experienced a very bad tear in birth and had a very tight pelvic floor which had a huge impact on my bladder. I also suffered from dermatitis and rosacea due to hormones increase. This will be ongoing and I’m still getting treatment for it.

My recovery and return back to exercise was a slow transition because of this. I was trying to get into the gym at around 6 months postpartum which felt very good, but I wasn’t able to do anything before that.

It took me about 10 months to feel like myself again.

There’s so much more I was going through, well still going through, but I know that it’ll take time to heal and that we should all be so damn proud of ourselves💕

Now, over 12 months PP, I’m back on track and exercise regularly when I find time in between being a mum and working full-time❤️
