Kate Newton
I was introduced to Pilates 13 years ago whilst overcoming ballet related injuries. Since then I have continued to practice it and my love for Pilates has only grown.
After becoming a physiotherapist in 2011, I was overwhelmed by the number of patients I treated whose conditions could have been prevented with exercise and use of the Pilates principles. I decided to undergo training to become a Pilates Instructor with the aim of teaching classes and also incorporating Pilates into my physiotherapy sessions.
I completed my certificate in Matwork Pilates in 2017, going on to then complete Reformer and Barre Certifications. I was lucky to be introduced to Lauren in 2018 and have enjoyed every moment teaching at Fitness Fix since.
I believe everyone deserves to be healthy and understand the benefits of exercising safely and correctly, no matter what age or stage of life. I look forward to seeing you in a class and helping you move.
